Apex Digest Goes Pro; Online
Apex Digest have just announced two major changes: one, Apex is becoming a weekly online publication (a la Strange Horizons and Fantasy) and two, it's paying pro-rates.
The first issue is now live. It includes the first in a new column I'm writing for Apex, Confessions of a Book Junkie, which is about all sorts of things: part a book collecting memoir (yeah!) and part comment about various book related topics. It's not particularly about SF or genre though there will be a fair bit of that too. Check out part one, The Titanic Omar (about the priceless book that drowned with the Titanic. Well. Sort of).
I'm not sure if this is going to be bi-weekly or what schedule it's going to be. I'm also told "Blakenjel" is still going to appear in Apex, just in the new online reincarnation. All good.
